Day 3 to the beach

Got up early (6:30) and headed to the main bldg for breakfast. Very good! Ham & scrambled eggs, watermelon, pineapple, toast & coffee. Drank our coffee poolside. Headed down to the beach & went to the far end (North?) Tried snorkelling but the water was pretty turbulent. Jo went in and I told her to hold onto everything when going through the big breaker. She did that but coming back in she had her back to the wave from hell and everything went for a ride. Fins, mask, snorkle etc. Well she recovered everything but upon examination the mouthpiece for the snorkle had either been ripped away or swallowed.
Coming back to the unit we got some drinks and went to the pool where we read and toasted. The pool is very nice and cooler than the ocean.
We've been waiting for a message from my sister and godmother who are at the Hilton all inclusive about 16 km from here but nada. I got the phone number and tried to call their hotel but couldn't get through so I'm going to get someone from here to try this morning for me.
Last night we joined up with the couple from Toronto Helen and Casey who have a car and went looking for a spaggeti place they'd heard about. We finally found it but they were closed due to a function so guess we'll go back tonight. Instead we went to a seafood place the lady recommended. Great food but check out the pictures on my facebook!
Well it's time for breaky and another beautiful day. Yesterday I met a couple of lizards and around dusk the budgies and parrots were really getting boisterous and flying all over the place. They're really hard to spot to take pictures and very fast never staying in one spot for long. We also suspect there's a howler monkey in the vicinity as we've heard it in the morning and evening. Check out the facebook
